The spec that survives a job site
- Laminated 3 mil vinyl. The laminate is the wear layer. Without it, pressure washing and sun strip the ink inside a season.
- Permanent acrylic adhesive. Builds bond over 24 to 72 hours and holds on painted steel, powder coat, aluminum and most rigid plastics.
- Solvent ink. Our 11-color Epson SureColor solvent system bonds into the vinyl rather than sitting on top like aqueous ink.
- Rounded corners on large decals. Square corners are where lifting starts on vibrating machinery.

Surface prep is half the job
Degrease first, then wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol and let it fully flash off. Diesel film, silicone spray and wax are what actually cause decals to fall off, not the adhesive. Apply between 50 and 90 F and let the bond cure 24 to 72 hours before washing.
Where our decals struggle
Raw rusty steel, heavily textured surfaces, oily unpainted castings and anything above about 180 F in constant service. For those, a riveted or engraved plate is the right tool.
