What decals should I order for storefront glass?
For storefront glass, clear vinyl with a white ink layer keeps artwork readable against daylight, white vinyl gives the strongest contrast, and cut vinyl lettering suits simple hours and phone panels. Clear, white or cut
- Clear vinyl with white ink. Our default for glass. The white layer under the artwork keeps it solid against a bright window instead of washing out. Areas left without white stay see-through.
- White vinyl. Maximum contrast and the cheapest route for a bold logo, but the sticker reads as a solid patch on the glass.
- Cut vinyl lettering. Individual letters with no background, ideal for hours, phone numbers and website addresses.
Outside or inside the glass
Outside mounting is simplest and works for any artwork. Inside-glass mounting means reverse-printed adhesive on the front face so the decal sits behind the glass: it cannot be picked at, weathered or pressure washed, and it lasts significantly longer. Say which you want in the order notes so we mirror the file correctly.

QR codes on glass
A QR scanned through glass from three or four feet needs to be at least 3 inches square, with high contrast and a quiet margin around it. Test the printed proof with two phones before committing to a large run.
Cleaning and lifespan
Clean with glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid razor blades and abrasive pads at the edges. On a glass surface, out of direct weather, these decals routinely go well past their 5 year rating.
