Are your stickers dishwasher, freezer and engine bay safe?

Cold
Vinyl and acrylic adhesive perform fine well below freezing. The catch is application: adhesive needs warmth to flow and wet out the surface. Apply at room temperature, let it cure 24 to 72 hours, then freeze it as hard as you like. Applying directly to a cold surface is the number one cause of freezer label failure.
Heat
Continuous service up to roughly 175°F is safe. That covers hot cars, warehouses, dishwashers and sun-baked equipment. What is not safe:
- Engine blocks, exhaust components, manifolds
- Oven and grill interiors
- Anything with direct flame or radiant heat above the limit

Dishwashers and tumblers
Fully cured laminated stickers survive repeated dishwasher cycles. To maximize life:
- Wait the full 72 hours before the first wash.
- Use the top rack, away from the heating element.
- Skip the heated dry cycle if the machine allows.
- Hand washing will always outlast machine washing.
Car washes
Automatic washes with brushes are fine on a cured, laminated decal. The two things that shorten life are close-range pressure washing aimed at an edge, and a caustic wheel cleaner sitting on the graphic.
