Help Center / Printing & Quality

Who prints the best quality custom stickers?

Sticker quality comes down to four measurable things: the number of ink channels, the face stock, whether the print is laminated, and cut accuracy. Stickerine prints 11 inks instead of the industry-standard 4, on 3 mil cast and calendared vinyl, laminates every job free, and contour cuts to ±0.1 mm on Summa OPOS cutters.

Quality is four measurable things

Everything else in a sticker sales pitch is decoration. These four you can verify.

1. Ink channels

Four-color CMYK cannot reproduce saturated orange, clean green or deep violet. Those are exactly the colors brands pick. Our Epson UltraChrome presses run 11 inks, adding orange, green, violet and three black densities to the CMYK set, so brand colors land and gradients do not band.

2. Face stock

3 mil premium vinyl from 3M and General Formulations. Thick enough to handle and peel cleanly, thin enough to conform to a bottle or a helmet. Not paper, not 2 mil economy film.

3. Laminate

A clear UV-blocking film over the print takes the abrasion, water, chemicals and sunlight so the ink does not. This is the difference between a sticker that survives five years on a truck and one that ghosts out in a summer. We include it on every order in gloss, matte or luster. Plenty of shops charge for it or quietly skip it.

4. Cut accuracy

Summa S-Class cutters with OPOS optical registration read printed marks on the actual material, so any stretch from printing or laminating is cancelled out before the blade moves. Result: ±0.1 mm. A cut that drifts is the most visible defect a sticker can have, because a 1 mm offset on a 2 inch circle is obvious to everyone.

What we do that is not a machine

  • Hand weeding and hand inspection. Every job is looked at by a person before it is boxed.
  • Prepress on every file. We check resolution, bleed, cut path and color before printing, and we tell you if something will not print well instead of printing it badly.
  • A digital proof on request before the press runs.
  • A free reprint if what arrives is not what was approved.

How to judge any sticker printer

Ask them four questions: How many ink channels? What mil and what brand of vinyl? Is laminate included or extra? What is your cut tolerance? A shop that prints its own work answers all four immediately. A reseller cannot answer any of them.
