Can you match a Pantone or exact brand color?
We match Pantone references closely using an 11-color ink set and per-material color profiles, and most brand colors land within a very tight visual match. We cannot reproduce metallics, neons and some deep saturated blues exactly, because those sit outside any printable gamut. Send the Pantone number and we will tell you before printing.
What we do
- Send the Pantone reference number, not a screenshot. A screenshot is RGB and depends on your monitor.
- We convert using an ICC profile built for the specific film and laminate you ordered, because the same ink looks different on gloss white vinyl, clear vinyl and matte laminate.
- The 11-color ink set includes orange, green and violet, which is exactly where 4-color printing normally fails on brand colors.
What matches very well
Corporate blues, reds, greens, greys, and virtually anything in the standard coated Pantone range that is not fluorescent or metallic.
What cannot be matched exactly

For metallics we can print on metallic or holographic vinyl instead, which is often a better result than a flat imitation.
Getting it right the first time
- Give us the Pantone number in your order notes.
- Design in CMYK so you are not surprised by an RGB-to-print shift.
- For critical brand work, ask for a printed sample before the full run. On large orders that is time well spent.
What we will not do
Promise a perfect match we cannot hit. If your color is out of gamut, we say so up front and show you the closest achievable option.
