What makes a sticker "industrial grade"?

Most online sticker companies sell calendared vinyl with no lamination, fine for a laptop, but it fades and cracks within months on equipment left outdoors. Industrial-grade stickers use a different construction: cast vinyl (it conforms to curves and rivets without lifting), a pressure-sensitive permanent acrylic adhesive, and a UV-resistant clear laminate bonded over the print to shield the ink from sun, abrasion, and chemicals.
