Are your stickers permanent or removable?

Our default is a permanent pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that reaches full bond in about 24 hours and holds for years outdoors. Removable adhesive, which peels clean for up to about two years, and high-tack industrial adhesive for rough or powder-coated surfaces, are both available on request.

Permanent (default)

Grabs on contact, cures fully in roughly 24 hours, and is intended to stay. It can still be removed with heat from a hair dryer and slow peeling, but on painted drywall or cheap laminate it may lift the surface. This is the right choice for vehicles, equipment, outdoor signage, product packaging and giveaway stickers.

Removable

A lower-tack adhesive engineered to release cleanly, without residue, for roughly two years. Choose it for:

  • Laptop and device stickers you expect people to swap out
  • Retail window promos that change seasonally
  • Rental property, trade show and event signage
  • Anything on a painted wall

Removable stickers hold perfectly well in the meantime; they are not weak, just designed to let go on purpose.

High-tack industrial

For powder-coated metal, textured plastics, cardboard, rough enclosures and low-surface-energy substrates where standard adhesive will not wet out. Standard on our heavy-duty asset tags.

Getting a clean bond either way

  • Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, not household cleaner, which leaves a film.
  • Apply between 50 and 90 F. Cold surfaces prevent the adhesive from flowing.
  • Press from the center outward with firm, even pressure.
  • Leave it alone for 24 hours before washing or exposing it to weather.

Just tell us in the order notes which adhesive you want; there is no upcharge for removable.
