About the name badge designer
Stickerine is part of Name Badges, LLC, and badges are the product line the company was built on since 2008. The badge designer applies that production experience in the browser: pick a size, drop in a logo, set the name and title lines and the layout locks to a template that reproduces cleanly across a run of hundreds.
Every badge is produced in our own facility, so a reorder for a new hire six months from now matches the batch that shipped today.
How the designer works, step by step
- Pick your size — Start from a standard preset or type an exact width and height. The designer redraws to scale instantly so what you see on screen matches the finished print.
- Add your artwork — Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF or AI file, or start from a blank canvas. Uploaded files are scaled proportionally and can be nudged with arrow keys for precise placement.
- Add and align text — Type headlines and body copy, choose a font, colour and size, then use the horizontal, vertical and centre alignment controls to lock everything to the layout grid.
- Check the safe area — The live guides mark bleed, trim and safe zones. Anything inside the safe area is guaranteed to survive cutting and finishing.
- Review and order — Live pricing updates as you change size and quantity. Add to cart and our prepress team reviews every file before it goes on press.

Can you print a list of names?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet of names and titles and we run them as variable data against your approved template, so every badge in the batch is identical apart from the personalisation.
Magnet or pin?
Magnets do not put holes in uniforms and are the standard for hospitality and retail. Pins are cheaper and still preferred for aprons, lanyard-free events and anyone near sensitive electronics.
How small can the logo be?
A badge logo should be at least half an inch wide to stay legible. Fine detail and thin strokes disappear at badge scale, so a simplified mark usually reproduces better.
Do you keep our template on file?
Yes. Reorders reference the approved template so a single replacement badge matches a run printed a year earlier.
