About the canvas print designer
Canvas prints turn a photograph or piece of artwork into a gallery-wrapped panel that needs no frame. The designer shows the wrap depth live, so you can see exactly how much of the image folds around the stretcher bars before you commit.
Prints use pigment inks on poly-cotton canvas, hand-stretched over kiln-dried bars and finished with a protective coat that resists cracking at the corners.
How the designer works, step by step
- Pick your size — Start from a standard preset or type an exact width and height. The designer redraws to scale instantly so what you see on screen matches the finished print.
- Add your artwork — Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF or AI file, or start from a blank canvas. Uploaded files are scaled proportionally and can be nudged with arrow keys for precise placement.
- Add and align text — Type headlines and body copy, choose a font, colour and size, then use the horizontal, vertical and centre alignment controls to lock everything to the layout grid.
- Check the safe area — The live guides mark bleed, trim and safe zones. Anything inside the safe area is guaranteed to survive cutting and finishing.

What happens to the edges of my photo?
With a gallery wrap the outer band of the image folds around the frame. Choose mirrored edges when the composition is tight and you cannot afford to lose any of it.
What resolution do I need?
Aim for 150 DPI at final print size. A 24x36 canvas wants roughly a 3600x5400 pixel file; the designer flags files that fall short.
Will the colours match my screen?
Close, but screens are backlit and canvas is not. We colour-manage every file and slightly lift shadow detail so dark areas do not block up on the weave.
Can I order a set?
Yes — multi-panel splits and matched sets are common for lobbies and hallways. Contact us for layouts spanning more than three panels.
