Designing your fursona stickers
This is the design step for fursona and original character stickers. Upload a reference or finished piece, set the size, choose a finish and we handle the cutline, bleed and colour management before anything goes on press.
Character art has specific print problems: thin lineart, saturated fur colours and long tails or ears that stick out past a tidy sticker shape. Our prepress team traces the cutline by hand on character work rather than letting software auto-trace through a tail.
Step by step
- Upload your art — PNG with a transparent background is ideal. Flatten layers first and keep the art at 300 DPI at final print size.
- Pick a size — Convention-table stickers usually land between 2 and 4 inches. Bigger sizes are laptop and window territory.
- Choose a finish — Gloss for saturated colour, matte for soft palettes and photo-friendly booths, holographic for a rainbow shimmer behind the linework.
- Set the cutline — Contour cut to the character silhouette, or a simple rounded shape with a white border — the classic sticker look for artist alley.
- Review and order — Live pricing updates as you change size and quantity, and we confirm the cutline before printing.
Common questions
Will thin lineart print cleanly?
Keep strokes at or above 0.5pt at final size. Anything thinner can break up, and we will flag it during prepress rather than printing something that looks patchy.
Can I get a white border around my character?
Yes, and it is the most popular option for character stickers. A 2-3mm offset border makes the cut edge forgiving and keeps small details from being clipped.
Are these waterproof for water bottles?
Yes. Laminated vinyl stickers survive dishwashers, condensation and outdoor use for years.
